The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine are getting fierce everyday. Innocent civilians are forced to evacuate their homes and leave their place of memories to an underground bunker. Seeing this made me feel wretched. Children and their parents pleading to the government to see a daylight, which they haven’t seen since February.

I thought to myself. Is this really necessary? Countless times, Putin have been asked the meaning of this war but have evaded every single one by saying “to denazify Ukraine”. Couldn’t this been done in a more peaceful manner? Conflicts can only create destruction, chaos and deaths. As Martin Luther King have said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”, adding violence to a violence would drive us farther from an agreement.
